Analie (pronounced like “Annalee”) Byron is a pen name I use on occasion, and “The Land of Analie” seemed a far sight more clever than anything I tried to put together using my real name (Robyn). I suppose the name “The Land of Analie” has to be a direct reference of sorts to the song “Puff the Magic Dragon”…
I am an unabashed royal watcher and London lover. I am very much in love with the tradition and history both offer, as well as the new twists the modern age has lent that tradition. (The pomp and glitter doesn’t hurt, either.)
On that note, despite my undying love for royal culture, I live in California’s Central Valley, in a city surrounded by farmland. There isn’t much call for pomp and glitter around here, but I do try to class up my surroundings as much as possible.
